Informational Open House Sessions on Passenger Rail Columbia River to Eugene

There will be six informational meetings for the Columbia River to Eugene, Oregon segment of the high speed passenger rail plan. Three of them will be in the Portland Metropolitan area: Oregon City, Tualatin, and Portland between January 9th and January 15th, 2013. This is part of the Pacific Northwest Rail Corrider rail plan from Vancouver BC to Eugene, Oregon. Please consider attending these meetings. Will this be a reasonable way for your government to spend exhorbitant amounts of our tax money?
Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 Portland, Multnomah County Building 501 SE Hawthorne Bv 97214, General Training Room in basement, 5pm to 7pm

Some of these improvements will be needed to improve rail freight movement. Some of them are just routine, or timely, maintenance projects. However, if the goals is to spend tens of billions on a high speed passenger rail project I would urge people to use the contact form:
